STORM ANGUS - THE MOORSHOLM AFTERMATH

On Monday 21 November 2016, Storm Angus gave us torrential rain for hour after hour.  Consequently Cow Close Beck grew into a raging torrent which even flowed over the bridge. The tremendous flow of water was strong enough to move four of the gabion baskets which we filled with rocks to protect the banks.

The following images were taken on the morning of November 26th and after the two work parties to repair the problems.
